Access Knowledge Africa was proud to be one of five libraries selected by the Uganda Community Libraries Association to host a Health Reading and Computer Training Camp. Funding for these camps was generously provided by EIFL (Electronic Information for Libraries). The camp took place last week and was a success. Participants learned basic computer skills and received information about various health related issues, such as nutrition, hygiene and AIDS prevention via discussion, reading and internet searches.
A big thank you to the Uganda Community Libraries Association for developing this curriculum, sourcing funding for the camps and for the ongoing partnership that we have with you!
